PHILADELPHIA -- Ray Emery is the latest goaltender the Philadelphia Flyers think can be their answer in net. Emery signed a one-year, $1.65 million contract with the Flyers as he returns for a second tour of duty there to compete with Steve Mason for the No. 1 job. Emery went 17-1-0 with the Chicago Blackhawks this past season while sharing stars with Corey Crawford. The 30-year-old wanted a better chance to be the man with a team than he wouldve gotten next year after Crawford helped Chicago win the Stanley Cup. A hip injury derailed Emerys 2009-10 season with the Flyers. It could have ended his career but he revitalized it with the Anaheim Ducks and then the Blackhawks. Flyers captain Claude Giroux said Friday hed welcome Emery returning. "I had the chance to play with Emery before," Giroux said. "Hes a good teammate and a great goalie." Jerry Rice Jersey . -- Devin Hester is done returning kicks in Chicago. Tim Brown Raiders Jersey . Team physician Dr. Steve Traina performed the surgery Friday. Robinson was injured in a spill underneath the Nuggets basket during the first quarter of Wednesday nights loss to the Charlotte Bobcats. http://www.footballraidersmall.com/Youth-Howie-Long-Elite-Jersey/ . Fernandez, coached in Toronto by former two-time Olympic silver medallist Brian Orser, scored 267.11 points and is the first champion to successfully defend since Russias Evgeny Plushenko in 2005 and 2006. Tim Brown Youth Jersey .Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone has drawn on his Syracuse connections once again by hiring Rob Moore to take over as receivers coach. Derek Carr Youth Jersey .Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Kevin Porter and defenceman Chad Ruhwedel from the minors as part of a five-player roster shuffle made by the NHLs worst team. Wallabies five-eighth Bernard Foley insists the tough times endured by Australia this year have laid the foundation for future success.Australia won six of 15 Tests in 2016, with most of the Wallabies returning home on Tuesday from the spring tour of Europe, where they beat Wales, Scotland and France but lost to Ireland and England.Coach Michael Cheika opted to spend a couple of extra days overseas and is expected to return later this week.Foley was the only man to start all of Australias 2016 Tests. The introduction of over a dozen debutants this year had Foley upbeat about Australias future despite their unflattering win-loss record. They endured a six-match losing streak, starting with the 2015 World Cup final and their 2016 log included four defeeats by England and three to New Zealand.dddddddddddd.I think weve got a lot of optimism, you see how far this team has come, Foley said at Sydney Airport. So many of the young guys got to debut this year and thats a great milestone. There was a lot of optimism when we first got together this year and realistically we were shut down pretty quickly and so we had to rebuild and face the challenges.I think out of those tough times and that adversity a lot of guys stood up and thats where I think the optimism and the potential going forward is.Those tough times I think have put us in a really good position for future success.
