(STATS) -- After a promising start in 2013, UC Davis football coach Ron Gould never continued the momentum, so it wasnt surprising Monday when the university announced he will not return next season.Gould was 12-33 in four seasons. This year, the Aggies finished 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the Big Sky Conference, beating rival Sacramento State 48-30 in the Causeway Classic to close the season on Saturday.Although we were not able to reach our goals on the field, I couldnt be more proud of all that we accomplished during my time at UC Davis, Gould said.
