Arsenals new midfield signing Granit Xhaka has described his move to the Emirates as a dream come true. Xhaka became Arsene Wengers first major signing of the summer transfer window earlier this week when he completed a switch from German club Borussia Monchengladbach. The Switzerland international is thought to have cost the Gunners around £30m - making him the third most expensive signing in Arsenals history. Xhaka has made over 100 appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach The 23 year-old, who has made over 100 Bundesliga appearances for Monchengladbach, says he is delighted to have completed his move to the Premier League ahead of this summers European Championships in France.I feel good, now Im happy to be a Gunner, Xhaka told Sky Sports News HQ reporter Gary Cotterill following Switzerlands friendly defeat to Belgium on Saturday. Its been a big week for me but now its official and Im very happy. Arsenal is a big club. Ive seen the pitch, its unbelievable. It was a dream for me and Im happy now. Xhaka was speaking after Switzerlands 2-1 loss to Belgium on Saturday Former Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has backed his international team-mate to impress for Wengers side next season and insists the midfielder is well-suited to English football.Hes got the ability to play the Arsenal way; hes got this aggressiveness about him that will help him in the Premier League, said Djourou, who went on to compare Xhaka to Italys legendary midfielder Andrea Pirlo. Hear what Granit xhaka had to say about joining Arsenal Hes a great ball player and a ball winner so I think in the midfield he could help a lot.Hes got the ability to play very long balls and precise balls. He reminds me a bit of Pirlo, the way he plays. Former Arsenal defender Johan Djourou backed his compatriot to succeed in English football Djourou also revealed that Xhaka had asked him about his own personal experience of playing at the Emirates and living in London. He asked me a lot of things about London and the club and I could only say great things about it because I had a good experience there, said Djourou.I think the people at the club are just amazing so I think hes going to have a great time. [url=http://www.nbabucksproshop.com/AutheOXFORD, Miss. -- The college career of Mississippi quarterback Chad Kelly is over at least a month before anyone expected. With Kelly out, Rebels coach Hugh Freeze faces a tough dilemma in deciding who should replace him: backup Jason Pellerin or prized recruit Shea Patterson.Kellys season came to a sudden end after he tore two ligaments in his right knee during a 37-27 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday. The 6-foot-2 senior leaves as the third-most productive passer in school history, needing just 22 games to throw for 6,800 career yards after transferring from East Mississippi Community College.Freeze praised Kelly on Monday for all he has done at Ole Miss -- including leading the program to a Sugar Bowl win last season -- but doesnt have much time to get sentimental. The Rebels (4-5, 1-4 Southeastern Conference) are struggling to become bowl eligible and must go on the road to face No. 10 Texas A&M (7-2, 4-2) on Saturday.Ole Miss has to figure out who will be under center against the Aggies. All options are on the table, Freeze said. The choice isnt easy. The 6-foot-2 Patterson was one of the nations top recruits a year ago, but Freeze planned to redshirt him since Kelly was returning after throwing for 4,000 yards as a junior. Now with three games remaining -- four if the Rebels qualify for the postseason -- the fifth-year coach is trying to decide if its worth burning Pattersons redshirt to see what he can do.I think Shea is one of the most complete quarterbacks Ive ever seen as a freshman, Freeze said. It would be hard-pressed, provided he stays healthy and everything, for him not to be a starter here whenever that time comes.Freeze just isnt sure that time is now. After all, its not like the Rebels are competing for an SEC Western Division title. Even with three wins to end the regular season, Ole Miss would have a 7-5 record and be stuck in a mid-tier bowl game. The other option for Freeze is Pellerin, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound redshirt freshman who has been used some this season in short-yardage and when games are out of reach. His passing numbers -- 5 of 13 passing for 53 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions -- arent great, but Freeze has said hes had some good moments.Freeze said Pellerin would receive the majority of the first-team snaps during practice on Monday. He also said hed prepare some emergency options like receiver Markell Pack, offensive lineman Jeremy Liggins or tight end Evan Engram if more injures occurred. The coach acknowledged that the playbook will be a little limited against the Aggies. Will it be what Chads done? Probably not, regardless of who goes at quarterback, Freeze said. Whoever it is, itd be crazy for us to carry the whole playbook into this game. We need to pick the things we really like and go with those.Engram said he was confident in both Pellerin and Patterson. He said Pellerins poise after Kellys injury helped the Rebels close the Georgia Southern win and that Patterson had been impressive in practice, especially for a true freshman. It will be a huge week for our offense, and our biggest challenge will be to rally around whoever is taking snaps, Engram said.---More AP College Football: www.collegefootball.ap.org and https://twitter.com/AP-Top25 . TORONTO -- The fastest team made a fast, strong first impression at the World Cup of Hockey. With blazing speed and uncontainable skill, Team North America skated circles around Finland on the way to a 4-1 victory Sunday night at the World Cup of Hockey.Led by goals from Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau, Jonathan Drouin and Nathan MacKinnon, the group of 23-and-under Americans and Canadians toyed with a proud Finnish national team that has the most Olympic medals since NHL players began participating. Were here to play, Gaudreau said. Hopefully, teams dont take us lightly. I think were a fast, speed, skilled team, and hopefully we can keep proving [to] people [that] we belong here.North America doesnt just belong in the elite tournament full of almost 200 of the best players in the world. It might be one of the most skilled from top to bottom. Four of the past five No. 1 picks were at their best Saturday night, offensively and defensively. Playing his first of what should be many games at his new home arena with the Toronto Maple Leafs, No. 1 pick Auston Matthews had an assist and showed he was ready to face NHL competition.I thought he was going to have a helluva game, and he did, coach Todd McLellan said. There was no fear of playing.Captain Connor McDavid, the 2015 No. 1 pick of the Edmonton Oilers, also had an assist and several nifty moves that confounded Finnish defenders.Much like Team Europe, a collection of players from eight European countries, North America made a great first impression after plenty of criticism about being a gimmick. North Americas blazing fast play in exhibition games made it the most intriguing part of the World Cup, and that fascination is only stronger now that it showed it can thrive when it counts.Just because were younger doesnt mean that were not as good or something like that, McDavid said. Its just we have a little bit less experience.Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Matt Murray made 24 saves but mostly had an easy night as North America outshot Finland 43-25, includingg an 18-6 domination in the second period.ddddddddddddThe second period was a cold shower for us, Finland coach Lauri Marjamaki said. They got better, they won every battle, they skate hard, they are so aggressive. ... such a great team.Pekka Rinne made 39 saves for Finland and struggled at times but also kept the game from turning into even more of a blowout.Goals came in every possible way: Eichels greasy rebound at the side of the net, Gaudreaus jumping, spinning deflection, Drouins toe drag and MacKinnons backhand-forehand move after he beat everyone else to the puck. North Americas apt goal song, Opposite of Adults, blared on the Air Canada Centre speakers all night.I think all four lines really brought something tonight, and everybody was out there kind of doing their part, Matthews said. We were utilizing our strengths, and I think we put them on their heels.Sometimes the pace was so quick that Gaudreau said players stood up on the bench in anticipation of the next fancy move. North America owned the puck against Finland, which had nine players back from the bronze-medal team in the 2014 Sochi Olympics. They really took it to us and showed their individual skill, but also as a team, they were extremely dangerous, Rinne said. Im not going to take anything away from them, but we werent ready to go. We made too many mistakes. We werent skating. That was the result.Valtteri Filppula scored the only goal for Finland late in the third period after the result was decided. McLellan said the lapse was a good teaching moment for his team and will help as the World Cup goes on.Russia is up next on Monday after a 2-1 loss to Sweden earlier Sunday. Despite Russia losing and North America winning, McDavid doesnt see his team as the favorite in the game.Russias a hockey giant, and theyre one of the best hockey nations in the world, McDavid said. Its going to be a good test for us. ' ' 'ntic-Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar-Bucks-Jersey/]Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Bucks Jersey[/url] .
