(SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Blackhawks take aim at their longest winning streak of the season on Sunday when they host the Calgary Flames in a battle at the United Center. Chicago has scored five goals or more in winning each of its past three games to match another three-game run this season from Oct. 11-15. The defending Stanley Cup champions also have suffered just one regulation loss over their last 11 contests, going 8-1-2 during that stretch. After pounding the Jets by a 5-1 score in Winnipeg on Saturday, the Blackhawks return home to face a Flames team they have dominated in recent years. Calgary has lost 10 straight in Chicago and hasnt earned a victory in the Windy City since beating the Blackhawks, 4-2, on March 16, 2008. Chicago won all three encounters against the Flames last season and has claimed four of five and six of eight overall in this series. The Blackhawks gave up a goal just over five minutes into Saturdays game at Winnipeg, but then scored five unanswered goals, including three in a 4:55 span early in the second period to chase Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec. Corey Crawford made 26 saves to get the win, riding an offensive barrage to a his third win in as many starts. Nick Leddy and Brandon Bollig each tallied once and picked up an assist for Chicago. "We had a good start to that second period, first period we were lucky to be even there, (Crawford) kept us in the game," said Chicago coach Joel Quenneville. Crawford is 3-2-0 with a 2.81 goals against average in five career games against the Flames. Chicagos backup goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin, who has not looked sharp in his three outings this season, is 23-13-2 with two ties and a 2.50 GAA in his career against Calgary. The Blackhawks are playing two straight and four of their next five games on home ice. They are 5-1-2 as the host this season. Calgary enters Sunday on a two-game slide and the club has lost six of eight since beginning the season 3-0-2. The Flames were last in action on Friday, when they lost a 4-3 decision against the visiting Detroit Red Wings. Despite falling behind 2-0 in the first period, Calgary managed to tie the score with a pair of goals in the second. However, Joakim Andersson broke the tie for Detroit just 85 seconds into the final stanza and Justin Abdelkader followed with the game-winner. Curtis Glencross, Sean Monahan and Chris Butler all scored for the Flames, who have dropped four of five. Joey MacDonald gave up all four goals on 22 shots in the loss. Glencross scored with 10 seconds left in regulation to account for the one- goal margin. "I thought that we didnt skate like the way we could," said Calgary head coach Bob Hartley. "The way that the Wings play, they kind of slow down the play and I felt that we got caught a bit especially with scoring two goals, they kind of put us back on our heels a little bit. I just felt that we didnt have our usual jump." Calgary, which is 2-4-1 as the visiting team this season, is kicking off a four-game road trip on Sunday. The Flames also will make stops in Minnesota, St. Louis and Colorado during this trek. Air Jordan China . Jimmy Howard made 44 saves and Henrik Zetterberg scored two goals, leading the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. Air Jordan Discount .com) - The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to get back on track Monday night when they welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves to Chesapeake Energy Arena. https://www.jordanchina.us/ . -- Billy Donovans bench came up big, bailing out top-seeded Florida in a tight game against what was supposed to be an overmatched opponent. Fake Jordan . On the day after Billy Horschel posted his 12th straight round in the 60s, won his second straight tournament against a world-class field and picked up an additional $10 million bonus as the FedEx Cup champion, Watson was kicking back in his seat at a Kansas City Royals game. Jordan China .Y. -- Phil Jackson lost out on his preferred coach, but hes working hard on keeping his star player.FIVE QUICK HOOPS THOUGHTS: 1. FLIP SAUNDERS (Timberwolves): Im not the least bit surprised that he appointed himself as head coach after his search concluded. The president had the most successful run of any coach in franchise history and is a good fit at this stage. The fact that hes got lots of power in the organization will help him in the locker room because players will know that the buck stops with him. That always helps a coach. 2. NBA FINALS FORMAT: I love the fact that the NBA has gone with the 2-2-1-1-1 traditional format. Im a huge believer that the finalist that had the better regular season deserves to be able to host that critical Game 5. This was a smart move to get in line with the demands of the fans and most coaches and executives. 3. NBA REFEREES: You can say what you want about officials and I have a tendency to mildly voice my opinion from time to time (haha) about them, but on the whole they do a terrific job and the playoffs are really difficult to call. I really like what the league has done this year with trying to keep officiating crews together during the Pplayoffs. Im a fan of consistency and, the more a crew woorks together, the more cohesive they become.dddddddddddd It helps a great deal and it not only makes sense, but its smart. 4. ABC ANNOUNCERS: I absolutely love listening to Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson and Doris Burke. Insightful, prepared, enthusiastic and entertaining - a really enjoyable listen that enhances the experience of watching the game and helps promote the sport. Just like the Spurs and Heat on the floor, this is the best game broadcast team in hoops. Theres a nice balance of opinion and strategy brought each telecast. For me, a joy to listen to. 5. RASHARD LEWIS (Heat): Lewis dropped 14 points in Game #2 and its nice having veteran experience on the floor. His perimeter shot-making ability is critical and he gives them better size to deal with the Spurs penetration and post-ups in the paint. Hes got a ton of big game experience and it showed in a huge win for Miami. LeBron was brilliant, yet you must have unsung heroes to help complement the stars. This is a guy on many nights this season was a DNP or barely played. Lewis is a true pro whos ready when called upon. ' ' '
