Fans at five big college games on Saturday will get politics mixed in with football.The games, all to be played in so-called swing states viewed as up for grabs in the 2016 presidential election, will have flyovers sponsored by the national womens advocacy organization UltraViolet Action with messages against Republican nominee Donald Trump. The group calls Trump the most sexist, bigoted and unqualified candidate in modern history.UltraViolet Action says it has commissioned airplanes to fly over the Wisconsin-Michigan game in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Rutgers-Ohio State game in Columbus, Ohio, the Northwestern-Iowa game in Iowa City, Iowa, the SMU-Temple game in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Virginia-Duke game in Durham, North Carolina.The planes will all be trailing a banner that says, Trump Says Women R Pigs. CLEVELAND -- Jim Thome said he had only one regret as he entered the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame: Albert Belle, another slugger who teamed with Thome on Clevelands powerful teams in the mid-1990s, wasnt in attendance for Saturdays ceremony.I was looking forward to seeing him, said Thome, the franchise leader in home runs with 337. I know the fans would have loved to see him. It would have been exciting.Belle provided a menacing presence in Clevelands lineup but was known as much for his temper, which led to several suspensions. He has had a chilly relationship with the Indians organization since leaving as a free agent following the 1996 season.Belle declined an invitation to attend this weekends ceremonies.
