Merseyside Police have warned Liverpool supporters travelling to Basel for the Europa League final not to buy tickets on the black market. Jurgen Klopps side take on two-time champions Sevilla at St Jakob-Park on Wednesday with an estimated 26,000 Reds fans expected to descend on the Swiss city. Liverpool fans are expected to travel in huge numbers to Basel With an allocation of 10,600 for the 35,000-capacity ground, it is expected that the majority of those making the trip will not have tickets to the game. Chief superintendent Jon Ward is urging those not in possession of a ticket to stay clear of the ground and make full use of the facilities on offer at the Liverpool fan park in the city centre, where the match will be shown live on a big screen.
